About Me

Frank Faranda trained for the work of psychotherapy through a Masters degree at Columbia University and a Doctorate from the Derner Institute of Adelphi University.  He also has post-doctoral training at New York University's Program for Psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis.

His influences include attachment theory, Jungian analysis, psychoanalysis, and Parts Work.  In recent years, Frank has expanded his work with insights from neuroscience and neurobiology. In recent years, he has published a book  on the ways in which fear and imagination manifest in our lives, relationships, and culture.
