About Me

I trained for the work of psychotherapy through a Masters degree at Columbia University and a Doctorate from the Derner Institute of Adelphi University. I also have post-doctoral training at New York University's Program for Psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis.

My influences include attachment theory, Jungian analysis, psychoanalysis, and IFS. In recent years, I have expanded my work with insights from neuroscience and neurobiology. I have also published work on dreams, imagination; and in recent years, I published a book on the ways in which fear and imagination manifest in our lives, relationships, and culture.
